Nicole will focus on the Peace River and WERP and Andrea will present a short update on Whooping Cranes. Nicole Ladevaia

is the Director of Research & Restoration niadevaia@chnep.org and Andrea Vale is a Conservation Specialist avale@chnep.org. CHNEP encompasses several Estuary Watersheds: Dona & Roberts Bays, Lemon Bay, Charlotte Harbor (including Myakka & Peace River basins), Pine Island Sound (including the Caloosahatchee River basin) and Estero Bay. Projects involve Improving Water Quality, Hydrological Restoration, Protecting Fish, Wildlife & Habitat, Gulf of Mexico Restoration, Enhancing Community Resiliency and finally Educating & Engaging the Public. On line learning tools like recorded presentations, fact sheets, publications and reports keep the community informed in addition to a calendar and other videos.
