About the event
Mike Weisensee, a multi-certified naturalist, photographer and birding Instructor will give a presentation on "How to develop lists of "likely" birds in any area and at any time of the year before venture to the area!" Mike has been a Florida Master Naturalist Instructor and is the current Palm Island Resort Naturalist. Today, he leads birding tours for Venice Audubon, Lemon Bay Conservancy, Peace River Audubon Society and the Englewood Area Birding Association. He conducts Shorebird surveys for Charlotte County, Florida Shorebird Alliance and Coastal Engineering. He has compiled Christmas Bird Counts for Venice Audubon and participated in both Venice and Peace River Audubon Christmas Bird Counts. He leads kayak trips for SUP.
