April 2018 Monthly General Meeting

The next Peace River Audubon Society meeting will be Thursday, April 19 at 6:30 at First Alliance Church on Midway Blvd., Port Charlotte. The speaker is Reinier Munguia who will speak on climate change effects on birds. Mr. Munguia is a full-time naturalist and nature photographer based in Lakeland Florida. He serves as president of the Lake Region Audubon Society and Eagle Watch Volunteer Coordinator. His work has appeared in various publications and he focuses on documenting wildlife and their struggles in our constantly changing environment.

Temperature changes have affected feeding patterns, breeding cycles and geographic range of many species. Learn which are benefiting and which are at greater risk and what is being done to save them.
