Walkabout at Peace River Wildlife Center – November 6, 2018

This “walkabout” is for all levels of birders and is an excellent way for newer birders to get an up close look at a wide variety of birds. We will meet outside the Peace River Wildlife Center at 8.30am. We will spend about 1 1/2 hours exploring the birds in the center and learning their histories. From about 10 to 10.30 Bella (Great Horned owl), Orion (Barred Owl) and Luna (leucistic Screech Owl) will make personal appearances so you can observe them out of their habitats and learn of their unique characteristics. For questions, call Barb Taylor at 717-968-6013.
