This season, the Christmas Bird Count Report will be presented at the February 18th meeting. Wouldn’t it be great to have all new photos in the slideshow? If you are a PRAS member and would like some of your photos included, please email them by January 15th, to billmarr53@gmail.com with CBC Photos as the subject.
We need a lot of photos since our CBC finds over 100 species of birds. Photos do not have to be taken during a Christmas Bird Count. Good choices for entries are birds you find easily in your neighborhood. There will probably be duplicate bird photos submitted, and if so, the earliest received will be the one likely chosen. However, an attempt will be made to see that everyone who submits a photo has at least one included. Also, winning photos from previous photo contests will be used. PLEASE NOTE: If you already submitted a photo after last year’s CBC show, PLEASE resend it to Bill to be sure it didn’t get lost somewhere in his files.
