Well, if the above is news to you – you’re missing out on a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature! Volunteers learn about plants, ecology and the fauna of the park as they work. They make a difference in our community.

If you’d like to volunteer at the park, please meet at the park entrance on Wednesday mornings at 8 AM.
The entrance is off Alton between Peachland and Midway Blvd – approx. 1-1/2 miles west of Kings Highway.

If you’d like to help maintain the blind, please meet at the bird blind on the third Wednesday morning of every month at 10:00 AM. The blind is located at the Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center at 10941 Burnt Store Road; Punta Gorda, Fl 33955. You can also call our Bird Blind Chairman, Mike Michael Krzyzkowski, at (863) 244-2652 for detailed information.
