About the event
Cape Coral’s 2026 Burrowing Owl Census recorded a record 7,828 owls, an encouraging milestone as development continues across the city. See what the latest count reveals about the population, ongoing habitat pressures, and the conservation efforts helping these iconic birds thrive. Dorothy Browning will do our exciting presentation.
One of the founders of Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife, Beverly Ann Saltonstall passed away on August 18 but leaves a legacy in the third edition of her book "Cape Coral Burrowing Owls Don't Hoot." You will be able to browse her book.
