Dr. Bill Dunson's Walkabouts

Don Pedro is a fast-disappearing coastal habitat mixture consisting of salt marshes/mangroves and mesic and hydric pine flatwoods.  We will walk a 1.5-mile trail to experience this fascinating mixture of natural landscapes and consider the major ecological concepts like the recent controlled burn.  There is a unique trail across the mangrove fringe and salt flats to the edge of  Lemon Bay.
