Kiwanis Park With Brant & Jayne

Brant Julius is an excellent birder and will join Jayne Neville (our featured speaker) to guide this walk. The park is a forest hideaway in town featuring a serene environment with a large playground for children, a walking trail with outdoor exercise equipment, a pond, and open spaces. Migrating warblers have dropped down in the park when inclement weather impedes their flight. The one mile loop trail is an easy hike. The park was renamed in Nov 2019 to honor Larry Taylor was a dedicated member of the Kiwanis Club who was actively involved in community service and local parks. His photo is below.
