Ollie's Pond New Year's Day

The Peace River Audubon traditional walkabout on New Year's Day at Ollie's Pond is located east of Collingswood Blvd. and south of Wintergarden in Port Charlotte.  It is a nice 1 mile loop trail on an easy path around the pond. 224 species of birds have been sighted there according to ebird. In the last year 107 species have been seen (To see the 107 bird list go to https://ebird.org/hotspot/L617642/bird-list? ) The parking lot is located on the northern part of the site near the intersection of Avon Avenue and Gobron Street.
