Mike Weisensee is an expert Wildlife Photographer, Field Trip & Kayak Guide and Educator. His background includes Florida Naturalist Instructor, Shorebird Monitor, Palm Island Resort Naturalist, Audubon Christmas Count Captain and Compiler and he offers Birding Courses. He and Robert Kraft, Cathy Olson, Bren Curtis and Brant Julius have been surveying Stump Pass State Park Beach and Palm Island to tally down chicks, feathered hatchlings and fledglings of nesting shorebirds and visiting bird species all summer! Palm Island beaches recorded the best nesting season for Least Terns and Black Skimmers.
