Join Peace River Audubon for a walk at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve on February 26, 2022. Meet at 8:00 AM in the main parking lot at 3120 Gasparilla Pines Blvd. Englewood, FL. Our guide will be Eva Furner, LBC board member and preserve committee chair. Eva is also a member of PRAS, an avid birder, and photographer. Eva will describe the recently completed preserve restoration project, and some exciting plans for the future of the preserve. There will be a variety of habitats to explore and birds and animals to see. Bring your camera and your binoculars! The hike will sometimes be on uneven trails. Water, a hat, sunscreen, bug spray and hiking shoes are recommended. Responding to visitor requests, a portable toilet is now available at the preserve parking lot.
Please call PRAS field trip chair, Rob Mills, at 305-607-6548 with any questions. This walk is free and open to the public. Hope you will join us!
