Kiwanis Park is an interesting park with a boardwalk and a bridge with a little lake. There is a nice area of snags for woodpeckers and it can be a migrant trap in the spring for warblers and other migrating birds.
The Barred Owls nested in the park last year. Hopefully we will see them again this year.
The Kiwanis Park can be accessed from Midway Blvd. Turn on to Victoria Ave and right on to Donora St and then another right into the parks parking lot at 501 Donora, Port Charlotte, FL. 33948.
