It was a beautiful day for our walkabout to Amberjack Environmental Park on Dec. 13th. It was a small but friendly group and we enjoyed birding together. Bren, our PRAS president, led the guided walk and we explored the trails and both boardwalks. We saw 34 species…including White Pelicans gliding overhead. We also saw a Yellow bellied Sapsucker, Bald Eagle, Pied billed Grebe, Blue Headed Vireo and many others. There were several species of flowers blooming along the way. Everyone agreed that it’s great to be out looking for birds on a sunny morning…time well spent.
