PRAS Field Trip to Fort DeSoto Park – Saturday, April 16, 2022

Please join the Peace River Audubon Society for a field trip to Fort DeSoto Park on Saturday, April 16th. Fort DeSoto Park offers sightings of many migrants during the fall and spring migrations – especially after a front with a northwest wind. We will meet at the north carpool location which is off of Kings Highway at the Walmart parking lot across from Culver’s (385 Kings Hwy), off I 75, Exit 170. We will meet at 7 AM there. If you are fully vaccinated, participants may wish to carpool to Fort DeSoto. Please bring a wide brim hat, sunscreen, water, lunch, and binoculars if you have them. We will return after lunch in the early afternoon. For any questions, please call Mike Krzyzkowski at 863-244-2652. All of our meetings, field trips, and walkabouts are free and open to the public.
