The Peace River Audubon Society is offering a kayak tour on Saturday, October 23rd at 8:00am. Bring your own kayak or rent one, for a 2 hour guided kayak tour along the Peace River, starting at the Navigator Grill. The tour is free if you bring your own kayak. The tour guide Nick Holzerland owner of “It’s Time: Kayak”, has recently spotted large alligators, manatees, and hawks but every tour is unique. Nick also stops along the Peace River for fresh in season edibles such as, hog plums, cattail, wild grapes, elderberries, bananas and more.
The 2 hour guided tour, kayak rental discount price is $35 each, if 6 kayaks are rented. Free if you bring your own kayak!
Navigator Grill Address: 9700 SW River View Circle, Arcadia (via Kings Hwy).
Meet at the Navigator Grill Boat Ramp at 8:00am.
