“Birds Along the Peace River – A Conservation Talk” – November 4th

The Peace River Audubon Society along with the Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center announce “Birds Along the Peace River -A Conservation Talk” at CHEC’s Administration Center at 10941 Burnt Store Rd, Punta Gorda, 33955. It will be on Friday, Nov. 4th at 10:30 AM. The program will include engrossing stories about birds that you find in the 2,300 sq. miles of the Peace River watershed which meanders through bone valley, meadows, marshes, swamps, pine flatwoods, hardwood hammocks, ranches, and farmland before it empties into the Charlotte Harbor estuary. The talk will include a brief history of the river with a few different Conservation assessments. Join us rain or shine!
