FIELD TRIP – WILDFLOWER & AMBERJACK PARK


Wildflower Preserve & Amberjack Park

Sat. Nov.14th 8-11 AM

Please Join Peace River Audubon and Dr.Bill Dunson from Lemon Bay Conservancy to explore the different habitats of Wildflower Preserve and how each supports different populations of resident and migratory birds.  The tour will start at 8:00 AM  at the Wildflower Preserve parking lot, 3120 Gasparilla Pines Blvd., Englewood, FL 34224.

The preserve is located just east of Placida Rd, Route 775, south of Englewood.

After touring Wildflower the group will take the short drive to the end of Gasparilla Pines Blvd. to see what birds are at Lemon Lake in Amberjack. Lemon Lake is the headwater of the tidal Lemon Creek that flows thru Wildflower.
