Don’t miss the next general meeting of Peace River Audubon on Thursday, April 20, 2023. It will be at First Alliance Church at 20444 Midway Blvd, Port Charlotte. Our speaker will be Reinier Munguia, with a program on birds entitled “Love is in the Air”. Reinier is the President of the Lake Region Audubon Society. PRAS has started a Field Guide Lending Library, housed at CHEC at Alligator Creek. If you have field guides that you no longer need, please bring them with you to donate to this library. If you’re heading out on a birding trip, let me check to see if we have a field guide for you to borrow. The proceeds from our 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Ron Mills Youth Camp Scholarship Fund. The summer camp is held at the Environmental Center so please bring $1 or more to participate.
