About the event
Gather your friends. Pick a day between October 6-13 and have fun exploring the Prairie Creek Preserve wetland species along the "dirt farm road" called Live Oak that is not marked (take a right turn from Duncan Road/Hwy 17). Travel ~9 miles just after the open cattle crossing gate. On the right is home of our endemic Florida Scrub Jay. The road continues to the parking lot of the preserve's creek trails. Please list the species that you find on ebird with photos.
Results will be summarized on FaceBook & this website! The person with most species and most unusual photo will be recognized at the Oct 17th meeting.
